final reflection

                      Reflection On Creation

We finally made it to the Tech Fair! It was on the 20th march. It's over now & this is a brief info about my whole journey from the beginning till the Tech Fair:

First of all, I started off with my idea which is a bioscope and I thought of how to make it technology type as because the original bioscope doesn't involve technology. Then I got into a group with my friend &  her idea was to create a video and so it was easier for us to combine both of our ideas and make it technology type. We decided to put the video on the iPad and then putting the ipad inside the bioscope. We then broke our jobs down, like she is responsible for making the video and I am responsible for making the bioscope box. Then finally we both were done with our project but a little problem arrived which was the video didn't formated to iPad as because it was created on windows movie maker but we tried many different converter but it didn't work. Therefore we had to put the computer inside the box. We actually tried very hard but things didn't work out very well, for example- after creating it the first feedback we got was a computer inside box. It was actually hurtful but we also later modified everything and got into Tech Fair & that was what we wanted. Later we added a home made projector to our project. On the Tech Fair day everything went well and I hope next year we can improve by learning from the errors that happened this year (:

Reflection: In this task I had to think about the Tech Fair and how I got to it. The errors that took place and how I improved. This task allowed me to learn how to overcome errors and what I can do to make ma better project next year.

Steps to create

                                                   Design & Creation

1) 

First get as many box as you want but one is enough for one
bioscope.

       

2) 

Second, you make a hole in middle of the front face of the box.

                                                                         Then you put a book inside and cover it's around with newspaper
                      to keep it strong and from moving. 

4)

Then to decorate the inside to make look like theater. You cut
Red shopping bags and using straws make curtains & cover
the background with red shopping bag.

Then you decorate the box the way you want.

Reflection on planning (2) :

There had been some changes to my plan. On 18th February I was supposed to to collect cardboard box but unfortunately it took me a bit long to find them. I also changed my design like the tube thing where people where supposed to look through, I changed it to smaller tube to make it easier for people to see the video. Also in the plan I wrote that me and my friend are going to meet up somewhere and complete the project but we cancelled it and we decided to work in school. These are the changes so far and currently I am working on building my cardboard thing. I am taking photos while I am creating and I will upload them soon :)

Reflection: In this task I had to update on what stage I am on creating my bioscope. It helped by making me go back to how my plan was and how it is now and how long will it take me to finish it.

                                      QR Codes

QR code is kind of mark for a type of matrix barcode. It was first introduced in Japan. Its uses are the same as barcodes but this is easier and more useful. It is very stylish and its patterns attract people more than barcode patterns do. Anyone can scan QR codes with their smart phone, iPads & etc. I think it’s a very useful way to help you access to sites. QR codes have links to face book pages, websites, blogs, wikispaces, songs & etc. There are lots of sites where you can generate your own QR codes. I used qrstuff.com. In my opinion, I think this site is really helpful and this site has a full list of stuff, like facebook & etc. of what you can make a QR code of. Last lesson I had to create my own QR codes and as you can see my last post were the QR codes for my two blogs. It was really fun to create my own QR code. I think the idea of the QR code is that it is easy and fun and the patterns of it attracts people and it also helps for business like people can buy Pepsi and they have these QR codes in their can and they says to scan and win! Therefore I absolutely agree that QR codes are really helpful & useful! (:

Reflection:

In this Task I had to write what I know about QR codes. I think this task was helpful and I had to think about what I know about QR codes and this lesson helped me gather more knowledge about QR codes. (:

In this task I had create my own QR code using a site called qrstuff.com. It was really easy and I recommend to use that site if you want to create your own QR code (:

   

Planning

Reflection: 

In this task I had to think about my whole plan to carry out my project smoothly. The plan above has all the dates and things that I will do to finish my project. I didn't stated above but I will take pics of every step I take like in decorating the bioscope - collecting cardboards and adding them together, coloring it, etc. So that after finishing the whole project I can explain each step I did to make the bioscope with pics.

Task 3

My Design

This is my current design and after the tech fair i will put a picture of my final product. I think the design is nice and i will put colors on the box and there will be snowflakes and there will be lights in the snowflakes and i will add more stuff like glitters and stuff to the box. There will be headphones in the tube so that people can hear the sound of the video. The tube is supposed to be big enough so that people can put there head inside to see the video. The video is going to be in an iPad and the headphone will be connected to the iPad.

Reflection:

I think this task was fun and creative because we got to imagine our own bioscope and we had to think about the decoration and video and etc. I can't wait to make the bioscope and I am looking forward to my next task :)
